"We have had only 5 Borzoi in our lives so far and each has been, or is, very special. Merlin has set a new standard here. His loving personality, beauty, and grace are truly special. He is a natural showman and loves competition. In early 2002 he finished his championship in Canada and has recently finished in the US as well. He was always in the ribbons and has done exceptionally well considering the limited showings and his "not quite ready for prime time" handler (Jim).   Only two weeks after having completed his American championship, he was awarded Best of Breed over top-ranking specials at the prestigious Western Washington Hound Show!  ...And only two weeks after that, he was given an Award of Merit at the Puget Sound Borzoi Club Specialty!  Merlin's natural instinct to hunt and course are as strong as I have ever seen in this breed. Our front 5 acres allow him ample opportunity to enjoy this important part of his heritage. The back 5 acres allow his curiosity for exploring to be enjoyed to the fullest.  To say he is loved by Lauri and me would really be an understatement. "I fell in love with Whitney's photo as a 4 month old puppy on the Clifford's website.  Good blessings brought Whitney to live with my daughter Jordan and myself.  Whitney does everything with zest and mischief, she never fails to surprise me!  She recently finished her Conformation Championship in style by going WB/BOW/BOS at the 2004 PSBC Summer Specialty!  This accomplishment made her a dual champion, as she had already earned her AKC Field Championship.  She also has 1 leg toward her CD obedience title, and has all her ASFA placements, lacking only 20 points to earn that field title.  She has a litter of 9 born this past June out of group-placing Kenai Spirit of Northwoods."

"Wes first pointed at 9 months of age.  Since then, he has been trained for obedience, agility and racing.  He was slow to mature, however, being shown sparingly, he managed to complete his championship by earning 4 majors!  His final major was awarded to him by breeder/judge Patti Neale (Sylvan) when he garnered WD/BOW at the 2002 BCNC Fall Specialty!  He pointed at his first LGRA meet by making the Top 5 in an entry of 22!  Most recently he made 12th place in LGRA at the BCOA National Specialty in Reno, NV among an entry of 44!  He is a dear member of my family.  He is my class clown.  He runs around with a 'smile' on his face, funny antics, and compassion in his heart.  He knows no stranger."

"Vonka has a delightful, fun-loving personality.  He steals gloves, finds his toys when they are put away and manages to get your attention by poking you with his paws. Agility training may be a future venture.  He has been shown on a limited basis, but will soon be ready for more serious competition.  Vonka has earned one leg toward his JC title.  The name Vonka is from a book of Tolstoy's."
